Tape cassette
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE: To make it possible to wind a tape around a rotary cylinder smoothly without movement, by giving a sag to the tape tensed when the magnetic tape is wound around the cylinder and not wound. CONSTITUTION: Loading a cassette on a magnetic recording reproducing device inserts rotary cylinder 6 into notch part 17 to push magnetic tape 9 between posts 14 and 15 in contact with slanting pins 18 and 19 and the circumferential surface of rotary cylinder 6. As a result, rotary arm 20 turns counterclockwise against tension spring 23, reducing a sag of rewound tape 9. Ejecting the cassette from the magnetic recording reproducing device turns rotary arm 20 clockwise, so that tape 9 wound around rotary cylinder 6 will be contained in sag part 1 in cassette case 32 again. In this way, the tape can be wound around the rotary cylinder smoothly without movement of the tape in the cassette case. COPYRIGHT: (C)1980,JPO&Japio
