Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To accurately performing the grasping of the luminance condition of the subject field and make possible photographing in desired exposure conditions by simultaneously displaying mean photometric vlaue and spot photometric value and displaying both while, if necessary, maintaining these. CONSTITUTION: The mean photometric vlaue of the subject image observed in the finder and the spot photometric value in the finder are stored while being renewed in latch circuits 5, 6 by turning on of a photometric switch. Phopometric vlaue information is renewed in a latch circuit 8 and is numerically displayed 11. Next, when a switch SW 1 is pushed by beforehand determining the desired angle of view, the contents of the latch circuit 9 are maintained wothout being renewed and the information of the step number differences of the spot photometric value of the next operating point of the SW 1 is held in the latch circuit 18. In a display device 21, displaying of the step number difference of the latch circuit 17 or 19 based on the information of the latch circuit 6 and the step number difference which the latch circuit 18 holds is accomplished in the form of time division.
