Salient-pole rotor
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE: To enable pulling out a magnetic pole piece as a rotor remains inserted in a stator, by fitting the dovetail of a support in the groove of a yoke and fixedly inserting cotters in the gaps between the dovetail and the yoke. CONSTITUTION: The support 23 for thrusting the sides of field coils 2 is provided with the dovetail 24 which has includes the inner end of the support. The dovetail 24 is fitted in the groove of the yoke 4 while the sides of the support 23 are fitted with contact plates 9 on the sides of the field coils 2. Shims 25 are inserted into the groove 11. The cotters 26 of length equal to the axial length of the yoke 4 are driven into the gaps among the dovetail 24, the shims 25 and the yoke 4, thereby fixing the support 23. As a result, the field coils 2 are firmly supported, and field pole pieces can be assembled and disassembled as the rotor remains inserted in the stator. COPYRIGHT: (C)1980,JPO&Japio
