Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To control the capacity of a refrigerant compressor in correspondence to the load of used heat exchangers by connecting the compressor capable of controlling its capacity to a plurality of heat exchangers. CONSTITUTION: This refrigerating apparatus consists of a refrigerant compressor 9, a controller 28 for controlling the capacity of the compressor 9, a heat source side heat exchanger 10, and a plurality of used heat exchangers 17W19, and temperature detectors 23W25 provided at respective heat exchangers 17W19 for detecting the difference between the temperature of the heat exchanging substance thermally exchanged at the heat exchangers 17W19 and the set temperature thereat to control the controller 28 with the value obtained by adding the outputs of the respective detectors 23W25. Thus, the capacity of the compressor 9 can be controlled in response to the loads of the heat exchangers 17W19 for efficient operation . Since the temperature detector responsive to the used heat exchanger stopped produces the same output as that used when the temperature difference from the set temperature is zero, it can protect the erroneous operation at high capacity operating time of the compressor.
