Test equipment for deflecting yoke

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To make it possible to make a quick decision on quality on the basis of a constant criterion by measuring a magnetic field generated by a deflecting yoke at several points. CONSTITUTION: Magnetic-field detector 16 in a discoid shape fixed to holding mechanism 15 is equipped with five magnetic-field detecting elements 24 to 28 and the center axis of deflecting yoke 12 agrees with that of magnetic-field detector 16. Once horizontal deflecting coil 13 and vertical deflecting coil 14 of deflecting yoke 12 are supplied with deflecting currents from constant current supplies 17 and 18, deflecting yoke 12 privides a magnetic field. On detecting this magnetic field, magnetic-field detecting elements 24 to 28 send detection dignals to amplifier 19, where they are amplified before being inputted to comparator 20. By being supplied with a reference signal from reference-signal generator 21, comparator 20 makes comparisons with input signals from anplifier 19 and a correction signal from correction signal generator 22 is also inputted to comparator 20, so that decision unit 23 will make a decision on quality on the basis of the input correction signal.
