Recorder/reproducer for still picture

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To secure an easy and assured editing work for VTR by recording the different still picture signals on several tracks via several fixed heads and then reading these different picture signals at one time through several fixed heads for display on the monitor. CONSTITUTION: N-units of magnetic heads 7-1∼7-N are distributed on one circumference of magnetic disk 6, and N-units of change-over switches 8-1∼8-N are connected to these magnetic heads. Then the video signals sent from VTR1 to be edited are applied to switches 8-1∼8-N voa record gate amplifier 5 connected to record logic circuit 5 and then recorded in sequence on several tracks and with every fixed frame. And for the editing work of the picture signals of VTR1, the picture signals of the tracks recorded on disk 6 are read out at one time through heads 7-1∼7-N and then displayed on monitors 11-1∼11-N via decoders 10-1∼ 10-N.
