Projection type television receiver

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To obtain a color picture projected and enlarged by one monochromatic Braun tube by providing a projection screen equipped itself with a color selecting mechanism. CONSTITUTION: Light emitted from bright point 23 on the front screen of monochromatic Braun tube 22 as a white-light-emitting electron tube is focused by lens 24 on screen 21 to form light point 25. As bright point 23 on the Braun tube is swept through the deflection of an electron beam, light point 25 is also swept. At this time, a pulse-shaped color switching signal is sent out from light-point position detector 26 provided to the screen and led to signal processing circuit 28 by way of connnection lines 27 provided to the edge of the screen in sequence. On the basis of the signal detected by the above-mentioned light-point-position detector, this circuit 28 converts each color signal of a TV signal into a time-series signal and then inputs it to Braun tube 22.
