Method of detecting crack on bottle type body
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To make simpler and speedier inspection by specifying a method of radiating and receiving inspection flux of light. CONSTITUTION:Above an inspection position are arranged a light source 6, a concave mirror 5, a convex mirror 7, an upper slit disk 8, an upper cylindrical mirror 10 while beneath the inspection position are arranged a lower cylindrical mirror 11, a lower slit plate 12, a cone mirror 13, a light receiver 14 with a convex lens 15. Thus to the side of a measuring bottle 1 supported by the circumferences of star wheels 3 is projected an inverse cone type flux of light 2 and the flux of light 2 is sent from the whole side of the measuring bottle 1 to the bottom, reaches the thick corner part of the bottom through the side wall and the light reflected by a crack at the corner wall part is received by the light receiver 14, converted photoelectrically, amplified, compared with the reference signals and whether there is a crack or not is decided. All cracks at the whole corner wall are detected easily and simultaneously.
