Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To quickly alarm and record any trouble of collision detectors and thus constantly confirm the function of an air bag system, by fitting a series of trouble diagnostic device. CONSTITUTION:An electric front sensor B, high performance solenoid C, mechanical valve controller D and mechanical sensor J are connected to a trouble display L and recorder M through a trouble diagnostic device K which discriminates data from the monitors and issues an alarm, through the display L, to the driver, if any trouble and error based on the trouble are found. If the driver continues to operate the machine in disregard of the alarm and a collision takes place after a fall of gas pressure, the recorder M puts the facts on record.
