Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To prevent flying of toner at the replenishing by constituting the developer case by a cartridge containing powder developer, a means of supporting the cartridge and a tray receiving the developer discharged from the cartridge. CONSTITUTION: A cartridge 1 is a slender case having a trapezoidal section which assumes an acute angle only at one angle and its length is approximately equal to the length of a developing roller. The developer case consists of a back plate 15 which supports the top plate 5 of the cartridge 1, a receiving tray 18 which receives the toner discharged from the opening 3 of the cartridge 1, a cartridge supporting member 10 which is supported oscillatably approximately 90° about a fulcrum axis 14 and a developing roller 20. The cartridge 1 when mounted functions as a part of the developing device and the toner 4 is supplied through toner path 21 to the developing roller 20. COPYRIGHT: (C)1980,JPO&Japio
