Anisotropic magnet
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To obtain the magnet which is suitable for field systems of motors and the like by providing a hole in a shaft and giving anisotropic property in radial direction. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic powder body 11 is filled in a metal mold 12. A through hole 13 is provided in a shaft. The magnetic body 11 is formed by compressing with a punch 15 which is inserted in a yoke 14 is put into said through hole 13. In said compressing work, magnetic fields are formed in the directions of the arrows by coils 16 and 17 wound around the upper and lower portions of the metal mold 12, separately. Since the magnetic fields are formed in the radial direction from the shaft of the magnet formed in a cylindrical shape, a magnet having anisotropic property in the radial direction can be obtained. In this way, is obtained an anisotropic magnet 21; wherein, for example, X portions which are magnetized in the direction toward the shaft and Y portions magnetized toward the external directions are alternately formed; and which can be used as a rotor for a step motor.
