Copied paper ejecting method in copier or the like

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To reduce waste to minimum in the case of inferior copies, by ejecting the first copied paper to a tray side in the case of using a copier ejecting the copied paper by changing over either of the tray or a sorter. CONSTITUTION: When eject of copied papers is changed over to the side of sorter 2, guide 15 is not changed over immediately, but changed over after the first copied paper has passed by controlling a change-over mechanism. The first copied paper is ejected to the tray side, and after a constant time the residual copied papers are ejected to the sorter side. After the first copied paper has been ejected to the tray, a user can observe the result of the copy by not feeding the second and the following papers to afford sufficient time, and can stop the copier or regulate it, thus permitting waste to be reduced to minimum.
