Aromatic polyether resin composition
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE: Titled resin composition having less anisotropy, excellent oil resistance and mechanical properties, which is useful for electric parts, etc., prepared by dispersing a dispersed shape comprising a specific copolymer, etc., in a continuous resin phase comprising predominantly an aromatic polyether resin. CONSTITUTION: A continuous resin phase is formed from an aromatic polyether resin, as a predominant component, such as a polyphenylene ether represented by the formula, wherein R 1 and R 2 each represents a 1W4C alkyl other than t-butyl, or a halogen and n is an integer ≥50. Then, in this continuous resin phase, is dispersed, by mixing, a dispersed phase composed of (a) a hydrogenated product of a block copolymer of a vinyl aromatic hydrocarbon and an aliphatic conjugated diene hydrocarbon and (b) at least one member selected from polyolefins and ethylene/fatty acid vinyl ester copolymers, wherein said components (a) and (b) are frafted with (c) a polymer of an aromatic vinyl compound. Thus, titled resin composition is obtained. COPYRIGHT: (C)1980,JPO&Japio
