Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To perform the correction of color temperature with a simple constitution, by detecting the color temperature of light source normally and automatically adjusting the color temperature to make unnecessary the temperature set every color temperature of illumination of objective changed. CONSTITUTION: The different colors from the light source are detected at the color detectors 31 and 32, and color temperature is detected at the color temperature detector 33 with the ratio of the color signals different from the detectors 31 and 32. The output of the detector 33 is fed to the color temperature correctors 34, 35 and the voltage determining the gain of the red and blue signals is produced from the color temperature correctors 34 and 35 through the use of the output of the detector 33. Further, the gain of the external variable gain amplifiers 12, 13 amplifying the red and blue signals R, B detected at the detectors 10, 11 is adjusted automatically, and color difference signals R-YL, B-YL are made with the subtractors 14, 15 and they are fed to the encoder 16 and the standard TV signal is formed by adding the luminace signal YH.
