Display part of copying machine

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To make display area larger and easier to see and eliminate congestion of display parts by displaying the set information changing with setting operations and the operation information changing with condition of the copying machine through combination of the multisegment display elements which are parallel displayed to two systems. CONSTITUTION: The display part 2 provided to an operation part 3 comprises dividing four display elements to two systems of right and left. The set information changing with the setting operations of the copying machine is displayed on the left side part P1 thereof like, for example, set paper size B4, and the operation information changing with condition of the copying machine is displayed on the right side part P2 thereof like, for example, symbol CW indicating standby state. Thus, displaying is accomplished by the combination of the dot segment 1a of the display elements 1. Then, the display area may be increased, the occurrence of defective copies owing to overlooking of the displayes, damaging of the copying machine, etc. may be prevented and copying operations may be performed always in the finest condition.
