Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: For optimum heating, to make current control of a heating unit by means of a semiconductor element by triggering said control element synchronously with the zero-detection signal from a power supply voltage zero-point detecting circuit. CONSTITUTION: The control system 4 consisting of a lead-on memory (ROM)5, a central processor (CPU)6, and an input and output circuit (I/0)7 has one, or a plurality of, 7LSI's (integrated circuits). Said control system controls the continuity and discontinuity of a triac 3 and adjusts current rate for a heating unit 1 by driving a gate trigger circuit 12 in accordance with the input of a power supply zero voltage detecting circuit 8, a voltage detecting circuit 9, a temperature detecting circuit 10 and a humidity detecting circuit 11 so that load, for example the toner fixation of a duplicator, is performed properly.
