Abstract PURPOSE: To produce hydrogen and oxygen easily with a simple reaction device at a high efficiency in the process which comprises a reaction of H 2 O with FeO to form Fe 3 O 4 and a heating of Fe 3 O 4 using solar energy to be decomposed into O 2 and FeO which is circulated.
