Bridged polyethylene cable which has outside semi- conductor layer

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To intend to improve stripping properties and work-ability of outside semi-conductor layer, by using EVA which contains a specified amount of vinyl acetate, stylene-butadien co-polymer and compound in which bridge forming agent is blended in conductive carbon black. CONSTITUTION: Conductive carbon black of 30-5 weight part whose specific surface area is over 900 m 2 /g is added and blended to 100 weight part of resin mixture in which 70-95 weight part of EVA which contains over 40 weight % of vinyl acetate, 30-5 weight part of stylene-butadien co-polymer and suitable amount of organic peroxides as bridge forming agent, retrogradation preventing agent and the like are added. Conductor 1, internal semi-conductor layer 2 and outside semi-conductor layer 4 of outside of insulating layer 3 by using this compound. Thus, stripping properties of outside semi-conductor layer, extrusion and working properties and mixing work properties can be improved. COPYRIGHT: (C)1979,JPO&Japio
