Cobalt-adsorbing-magnetic-power and its manufacture

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To manufacture the magnetic powder with high coercive force being free from the powder-separation, by dipping the cobalt-adsorbing-magnetic-powder into the alkaline aqueous solution of anionic surface active agent, and after that, by performing filtration and drying. CONSTITUTION: The cobalt-adsrobing-iron-oxide is dipped into an aqueous solution of anionic surface active agent, etc., like as phosphoric polyoxyethylenealkylether, etc.; after that, this solution is alkalified, filtered, and dried; hereby, the cobalt- adsorbing-magnetic-powder with high coercive force free from the deterioration, being covered its surface with the anionic surface active agent, can be manufactured.
