Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To reduce nitrogen oxides efficiently and economically, by evenly injecting reducing agent in combustion gas. CONSTITUTION:A pair of conduit pipes 2, 3 are U-shaped, their one side being fitted to the upstream of combustion exhaust 8 and the other side being place to the downstream and equipped with nozzles 4, 5. The reducing agent fed in the conduit pipes 2, 3 is liquid in the first stage, but it is heated and gasified as the flow progresses due to heat of hot combustion exhaust 8 until it becomes as hot as the exhaust to equalize the temperature of all injection nozzles 4, 5. This allow the uniform injection to reducing agents 6, 7 into the exhaust 8 to reduce nitrogen oxides efficiently and economically.
