Internal combustion engine fuel supply system
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE: To supply fuel exactly by only using a main fuel injection valve, while a little air is suctioned by a suction pipe of a fuel injecting internal combustion engine, in which the main and the sub fuel injection valve. CONSTITUTION: Suction air is supplied for an engine 10 through a riser 8 which is preheated by exhaust gas passing through an air cleaner 3, an air flow meter 4, a throttle valve 6, and an exhaust pipe 7. The riser 8 of a suction pipe 5 is provided with a main and sub fuel injection valve 1, 2, for which fuel from a fuel tank 11 is supplied through a pump 13, a strainer 14. Surplus fuel is turned back to the tank 11 through a return pipe 15, and a pressure regulator 16. A frequency signal of a distributor 20, an exhaust density signal of an 02 sensor 21, and an air amount signal from the flow meter 4 are sent to a controller 19 to control both injection valves 1, 2. For small air amount, the main injection valve 1 is operated and for great air amount, both valves 1, 2 are operated COPYRIGHT: (C)1979,JPO&Japio
