Automotive hood hinge

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To reduce the side of and to improve the maneuverability of and the hood retaining force of a hood hinge for reducing the operator's operating force by aiding the hood in standing direction when the hood for coating the top of the engine room is opened. CONSTITUTION:This hood hinge is constructed by providing first bracket 11 secured to the hood, second bracket 12 secured to the automotive body, first link 13 rotatably secured at one end thereof via a pin 14 to one end of the bracket 11 and at the other via a pin 15 to one end of the bracket 12, second link 16 rotatably secured at one end thereof via a pin 17 at the position different from the pin 14 to the bracket 11 and at the other via a pin 18 at the position different from the pin 15 to one end of the bracket 12 without crossing with the link 13, and a spring 19 for standing the link 11 engaged at one end to the lup 111 of the link 13 and at the other to the lug 161 of the link 16.
