Dressing method of grinding stone

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To effect the best dressing in the stable condition and in a short period of time by performing the dressing through the injection of the stone particle with liquid to the grinding stone, particularily Borazon grinding stone. CONSTITUTION: An alumina oxide particle a injected to the grinding surface together with the grinding liquid c from an injection nozzle 5 collides with the surface of the grinding stone. By doing so, the crack is produced in an embedded part b of the grinding surface and the peeling of the embedded part b is produced by the crack. Therefore, new grinding blade is formed on the grinding surface or new space for the cutting metal particle removal is formed for the dressing of the grinding stone COPYRIGHT: (C)1979,JPO&Japio
