Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To provide an operaton of making a connection with and release from the substance fo be contacted without any force equired only with a change of temperature applied, by constructing a contacfting material with a plurality of different kind of metals of different thermal expansion coefficient made sticking together. CONSTITUTION: The connector is constructed by a contacting mqaterial 11, formed with a plurality of different kind of metals of different thermal expansion coefficient, for instance, a brass (30 to 40 ZnCu) and 36Ni-Fe or a monel (67Ni-28Cu-Mn) and 34 to 42Ni-Fe, adhesively made sticking and rolling, a terminal unit 12, formed in one unit with the before said and elecftically connected, and a mode material 13, having a groove 13' for a substance to be contacted to be engaged. The connector will be secured by a soldering through a mounting hole of mother printed board 18 like back panel. The contacting materials 11, facing each other, are mutually curved at a cold temperature with a mutual distance made small, and said mutual distance between the contacting materials 11 will be enlarged widely oening by a heat application in the constant-temperature oven, with a printed wiring board 4 pulled off under this condition COPYRIGHT: (C)1979,JPO&Japio
