Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To ensure a quick and highly operational "go game" (board game of Japan) through the telephone circuits and via the TV receiver and the light pen. CONSTITUTION: "Go" board pattern generating part 6 receives clock signal CL from clock generating part 4 to produce "go" board pattern signal b synchronizing with the scan period of the TV signal. At the same time, "go" stone pattern generating part 5 produces the raster signals to form the "go" stones synchronizing with CL. The both signals compound (7) the pattern signals for the white or black stones on the "go" board according to the situation then, and the composite signal is converted (8) into the TV signal to be displayed on TV picture receiver 9. The players then give indications for putting or erasion of the stones via light pen 10. Thus, pen 10 informs the positions to detector 11, and the positional information is informed to the partner's terminal through transmission control part 12 and communication circuit 13. As the partner's terminal features the same structure, the contents of the memory memorizing the distributions of the stones within control part 3 are rewritten based on the positional information sent in. At the same time, the next stone putting is controlled COPYRIGHT: (C)1979,JPO&Japio
