Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE: To realize the production process fo the light emitting element which eliminates waste by dicing of PN junction face. CONSTITUTION: A wafer 1 is diced from the surface of the layer side of thicker of its P type region layer or N type region layer so as not to reach the PN junction face 3. Namely, the portions to be lost by dicing are the portions indicated by obligue lines 6.
