Abstract NEW MATERIAL:5-Fluorouracil of the fromula I or its salt (R 1 is alkyl, aryl, aralkyloxy; R 2 is H, alkyl, alkenyl, aralkl; R 3 is H, alkyl, araklyl; A is single bond, lower alkylene). EXAMPLE: 2-Acetamido-2-(5-fluorouracil-1-yl) acetic ethyl ester. USE: Anti-tumor, anti-tuberculous drugs. PROCESS: 5-fluoruuracil derivative I is prepared by reacting a compound II with 5-fluorouracil in a solvent such as dimethylformamide, in the presence of a base such as lithium hydride, under cooling or at room temperture COPYRIGHT: (C)1979,JPO&Japio
