Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To eliminate drawbacks such as insufficient reactivity of coupling, giving of considerable color fogs, poor dispersibility, occurrence of coating troubles, instability of compounds, etc. by using the specific 2 equivalent cyan forming coupler. CONSTITUTION: The colorless photographic 2 equivalent type cyan color forming coupling having the alkoxy groups substituted with one or more sulfonamide groups or sulfamoyl groups of formula I or II [R is (un)saturated bivalent aliphatic groups (but excluding the bivalent aliphatic groups where aryl binds to the C adjoining to the O bound in the coupling position); R 1 , R 3 , R 4 are H, aliphatic groups, aromatic groups; R 2 is aliphatic groups, aromatic groups, hetero cyclic groups; R 3 , R 4 may bound directily or through bond groups to form ring] as slimination groups in the position coupling to the oxidant of aromatic primary amine developing agents is used COPYRIGHT: (C)1979,JPO&Japio
