Purificatory apparatus for nightsoil
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE: To provide a purificatory apparatus for nightsoil, wherein a screen is arranged which is slanted downward from over an aeration tank to over an opening of a separation tank, so that solids present in the nightsoil will be screened to be left on the screen while only the screened filthy water can be subjected to aeration in the aeration tank to facilitate the aeration. CONSTITUTION: Filthy water such as nightsoil introduced through a conduit 4 flows onto a screen 3, thus solids in the filthy water will remine on the screen, and only the screened filthy water is introduced into an aeration tank 1 to be aerated, in the aeration tank 1 an air blowing pipe 5 being provided to feed air into the aeration tank and to vibrate the surface of water in the aeration tank. The solids on the vibrated screen 3 falls into a separation tank 2. The aerated filthy water is transferred into a precipitation chamber 6 where suspended solid in the aerated filthy water is caused to precipitate dynamically, and the transvasate is sterilized in a sterilization chamber 7 and discharged through a discharge pipe 8. The filthy solids in the separation tank are removed by means of vacuum. COPYRIGHT: (C)1979,JPO&Japio
