Abstract PURPOSE: Dicyclopentadiene is brought into contact with a catalyst system consisting of a compound containing molybdenum or tungsten and an organotin cimpound to produce title ring-opening polymer having good heat resistance, impact strength, mechanical strength and transparancy.
