Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE: Read resolution is enhanced, and the reduction in production processes and the increase in the rate of non-defectives are achieved by employing a conductive high magnetic permeability plate for one of magnetism shield plates provided with a mgnetoresistance effect element therebetween and letting this plate also serve as a d.c. bias magnetic field applying means.
