Abstract PURPOSE: A count number dividing apparatus which is mainly connected to a delivery mechanism of a bookbinding machine so that bound books sequentially delivered from the delivery mechanism are automatically stacked in an alternatively oppositely directed manner, and that the books stacked upto a predetermined number are sent out therefrom to their respective count sides.
