Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE: To detect slag by providing a detection coil on the outside circumference of the nozzle attached to a vessel containing molten metal, letting eddy current be generated in the molten metal flowing from the nozzle and changing the impedance of the detection coil according to the quantity of the slag mixed in the molten metal.
