Abstract PURPOSE: An economical drive system of a simple construction for use in an electic car, etc., which includes a rotor secured to a wheel shaft supported turnably and a stator for forming a motor with the rotor secured wither to the wheel shaft or to a car body, and which eliminates a transmission mechanism such as a propeller shaft, differential gears and the like.
