Abstract

Abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To move an underlay sheet synchronously with the movement of a conveyor belt by providing rotatable drums for adding a constant tension in the front and rear of the underlay sheet, and providing an adsorptive pressure variable device for reducing the adsorptive pressure of an adsorptive device in the movement of the conveyor. SOLUTION: A sheet member to be cut 11 is extended in an extending area (a), and carried to a cutting area (b) by the movement of a conveyor to cut it. After the cutting is ended, the resulting member is carried to a pickup area (c) to pick up the cut part. In cutting, an adsorptive device 6 is controlled by an adsorptive pressure various device 7, and operated in high adsorptive pressure state, whereby the sheet member to be cut 11 is highly adsorbed and fixed through an adsorptive hole of an adsorptive table 5, the adsorptive hole of a conveyor belt 1, and a porous material-made underlay sheet 8. In conveyor feeding, the adsorptive device 6 is operated in a low adsorptive pressure state so as to feed the underlay sheet 8 according to the feed of the conveyor belt 1. Thus, the poor productivity as carrying of the underlay sheet from the pickup area to the extending area can be avoided.
