Inkjet print head
Abstract
Abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform high speed printing by preventing the deformation of a nozzle forming member by arranging a hold plate in a close contact state in the vicinity of the nozzles of the nozzle forming member. SOLUTION: Nozzles 5 are arranged on one surface of a printing head in a row. A hold plate 1 covers the whole of the surface on which the nozzles 5 are arranged other than the vicinity of the nozzles 5 arranged in a row and is connected to the housing 4 of the printing head. The nozzles 5 are arranged on a head unit and piezoelectric actuators 3 are attached to the surface on the side opposite to the nozzles 5 of the head unit. The housing 4 has a box shape and the head unit is bonded to the housing 4 to form a hermetically closed space to store ink. The hole plate 1 has a shallow box shape and has the orifice parts corresponding to the row of the nozzles 5 and a nozzle forming member 6 is pressed to the utmost up to the gaps of the adjacent nozzles 5. By this constitution, the deformation of the nozzle forming member 6 is prevented and a desired ink proper amt. is obtained in the emission of ink and high speed printing can be performed.
