Abstract

Abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the turbulence of toner and to obtain an excellent color image at a multi-developing time by deviating the central positions of latent image areas formed by first and second image forming parts. SOLUTION: The first station (first image forming part) A is constituted by being provided with a first developing device 4 and a third developing device 50. Besides, the second station (second image forming part) B is constituted by being provided with a second developing device 7 and a fourth developing device 51. Then, an image forming action is executed so that the center of the latent images of magenta and yellow formed by the station A and the center of the latent images of cyan and black formed by the station B are deviated. Besides, a part which is not exposed by the station A is exposed by the station B by using a second laser beam. Thus, the need of the electrostatic charger of the station B is eliminated and such an action that a part developed once is developed again is eliminated.
