Exercise intensity measurement device

Abstract

Abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring device which can determine the motion intensity of organism from time to time in a short cyclic period such as the pulsation period. SOLUTION: The motion intensity measuring device is equipped with a pulsation number calculating means 80 to calculate the pulsation number PR of an organism and a continuous blood pressure measuring means 79 to measure the monitoring blood pressure value MBP on the basis of the capacity rippled area continuously in synchronization with the pulsation period non-invasively. Thereby the value of motion intensity PRP (=PR×MBP) can be calculated from time to time by a calculating means 82 in synchronization with the pulsation period, which allows elimination of a delay in determining the actual value PRP, compared with the conventional method in which PRP is calculated from the measurement of blood pressure obtained by the use of a cuff.
