Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To prevent an internal combustion engine from acting on a motor as dragging load without providing a member such as a one-way clutch between the internal combustion engine and the motor. CONSTITUTION: In the case where the shift position is switched to the back stage REV (104), the fuel supply to an internal combustion engine is cut off (118), and thereafter, the throttle is fully opened (120) so as to reduce the pump loss of the internal combustion engine. A motor connected to the internal combustion engine is reversely driven (122) so as to reverse the vehicle. In spite of the control for fully opening the throttle, the decompression control can be carried out. Besides the case where the shift position is switched to the reverse stage REV, in the case where an auxiliary machine is driven at the time of stopping the vehicle, the similar control can be performed.
