Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To provide a knotter for a thresher having culm guides of a raking in unit capable of precisely relaying and conveying waste culms fed from a waste culm conveying unit from the upper part of a cutter to the knotter. CONSTITUTION:This knotter for a thresher is obtained by forming culm guides 5 comprising spring members installed from the terminal end of a waste culm conveying unit (1b) along and opposite the raking in direction of raking in units 33, forming folded parts so as to form guide pieces and installation pieces in a folded back state when viewed from the side, approaching the folded back parts to a thresher 1 or a machine wall (2a) of a cutter 2, fixing the installation pieces to be a free end in this state on the lower side to the knotter 3 and installing the guide pieces on the upper side so as to approach or lap on raking in loci of the raking in units 33 in the knotter for the thresher having the knotter for raking in and knotting waste culms with the raking in units 33 so as to enable the movement and regulation in the culm body direction of the waste culms.
