Belt type heat fixing device

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To increase the fixing speed by winding a pressurizing belt on a heating roller via a fixing belt and to attain a high-speed fixing with a long service life without the curling of a paper sheet and offset by preventing the curling of the paper in such a manner that the fixing belt is wound on the roller of the pressurizing belt in the peeling part of the paper. CONSTITUTION:The fixing belt 6 is extended on the heating roller 5 having a halogen lamp inside and a driven roller 11 supported by a spring, the pressurizing belt 7 comes into contact with the fixing belt 6 so as to be wound on the heating roller 5 at an angle of theta1 by two press-contacting rollers 14 and 15 to form a first heating part A. Moreover, the press-contacting roller 14 comes into contact with the fixing belt 6 at an angle of theta2 via the pressurizing belt 7 to form a second heating part B with a curvature opposite on that of the first heating part A. The halogen lamp is disposed inside the press-contacting roller 14 on the slip stream side of the first heating part A to obtain a heating function.
