Karakuri clock control method

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To establish a control method of clock for effecting a performance positively and smoothly by providing means for pneumatically driving a puppet preliminarily under concealed state a predetermined time before a set time. CONSTITUTION:A central control section 46 comprises a circuit for driving a timer circuit, a control circuit and a tricky unit 16. A preliminary operation signal is delivered from a timer a predetermined time before a set time in order to drive only the pneumatic drive mechanism 25 for the gadget unit 16 for a predetermined time. Consequently, a puppet 23 is driven pneumatically while being concealed and the preliminary operation of air cylinder is effected. A performance start signal is delivered from a timer clock at a predetermined time and a control circuit controls a drive circuit to actuate a push-out mechanism 22. When the puppet 23 emerges upon finish of the push-out operation, pneumatic driving of the puppet 23 is started in response to the rising of pneumatic drive signal delivered from the control section 46 and the puppet performs a gadget operation, e.g. hitting a bell.
