Decimation filter, A / D converter

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To accurately suppress DC components from a Σ▵pulse train. CONSTITUTION: A DC component suppressing mechanism is positioned in a decimation circuit and the decimation circuit incorporates a register 404. During initialization, the digital value corresponding to the average value of DC components is loaded into the register 404. The DC components are calculated by means of a digital signal processor(DSP) and a subtracting circuit and the subtracting circuit directly subtracts the value stored in the register from a PCD word before the PCD word is inputted to the DSP.
