Abstract

(57) [Abstract] [Purpose] To reduce the transmission of vibration from the engine to the vehicle body when the outer cylinder contacts the stopper, and to improve the stopper performance of the stopper. [Structure] An anti-vibration rubber 4 is interposed between an outer cylinder 2 and an inner cylinder 3, and a pair of brackets 6 are provided on both sides of the outer cylinder 2, the inner cylinder 3 and the anti-vibration rubber 4. An elastic stopper 9 is provided between the bracket 6 and the outer cylinder 2 and both ends of the anti-vibration rubber 4 so that the elastic stopper 9 can contact when the outer cylinder 2 is displaced in the axial direction S. In the engine mount 1 configured as described above and interposed between the engine and the vehicle body, a large number of hexagonal through holes 9a are regularly formed on the entire surface of the elastic stopper 9 to form a honeycomb shape. Therefore, since the spring constant of the elastic stopper 9 becomes small, A highly rigid elastic stopper 9 can be used, and the stopper 9 exhibits sufficient stopper performance. Further, since the spring constant is small, even when the outer cylinder 2 and the elastic stopper 9 are in contact with each other, the vibration of the engine is less likely to be transmitted to the vehicle body.
