Packet transmission time control method

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To efficiently perform packet transmission replying to emergency by designating necessity for real time by arrival permission time, performing transmission as much as possible in a time zone with low traffic quantity. CONSTITUTION:A transmission/reception control part 4 which comprises a node 1 transmits a packet conforming to a transmission request from a job program, etc., when the traffic quantity receiving information from a traffic quantity measuring part 5 goes less than a prescribed threshold value, while, sends the packet when the arrival permission time arrives if the traffic quantity does not go less than the prescribed threshold value until the arrival of the arrival permission time. Therefore, the packet can be transmitted as much as possible in the time with low traffic quantity by designating the necessity/ unnecessity of the real time by the arrival permission time, and transmitting the packet when the traffic quantity arrives at the time zone where it is estimated that the traffic quantity goes less when the traffic quantity goes less, and the traffic quantity is decreased, and the packet transmission can be efficiently performed replying to the emergency.
