Output correcting device for magnetoelectric transducer
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To correct variation in the output of an MR element upon aging change and to effectively convert to a rectangular wave by varying an offset signal to be added to the output signal of a magnetoelectric transducer to regulate the output signal level of level converting means in a range of upper and lower limits if the output level of level converting means exceeds a threshold value. CONSTITUTION:If the output signal w3 of an amplifier 2 exceeds a threshold value S2 of an upper limit setter 5, the setter 5 outputs a signal for reducing a counted value to a counter 7 to lower the offset voltage of the amplifier 2. As a result, the level of a signal W0 to be output from the amplifier 2 is corrected to a lower value to become like w1, w2. When the corrected output signals w1, w2 are shaped by a waveform shaper 3 based on reference voltages Vref 1 and Vref 2, a rectangular wave is obtained. A rectangular wave wr1 corresponds to the sine wave signal w1, and a rectangular wave wr2 corresponds to the sine wave signal w2. Thus, the level of a signal w3 deviated from the range set by the setter 5 and a lower limit setter 6 is corrected to effectively detect the output signal of an MR element 1 as a rectangular signal.
