Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To obtain an antistatic photographic sensitive material having good magnetic characteristics unchanged with lapse of time by forming a conductive layer and a transparent magnetic layer on one side of a support and specifying its coercive force and resistivity before and after development processing. CONSTITUTION:Aphotosensitive silver halide emulsion layer 14 is formed on one side of the support 15 of the photographic sensitive material and at least on one side of the support 15 the conductive layer 17 and the transparent magnetic layer 16 having a coercive force of >=400 Oe and a resistivity of <=10<12>Q/cm (25 deg.C, 10% RH) before and after the development processing. As the fine ferromagnetic material to be used for the layer 16, fine ferromagnetic iron oxide powder, fine Co-doped ferromagnetic alloy powder, fine ferromagnetic chromium oxide powder, fine ferromagnetic metal powder, fine ferromagnetic alloy powder, barium ferrite, and the like can be used. This photosensitive material has excellent magnetic characteristics free from errors in magnetic input and output at the time of repeated uses, and superior antistaticness, resistance to dust attachment, superior transparency and adhesiveness.
