Electrooptical electrode substrate
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To impart heat resistance to the above substrate without requiring combination use of a surfactant and to obtain excellent orientability by bringing a compd. having the imide group and epoxy group expressed by specific formula and phenylene diacrylic acid into reaction to form a polyimide resin. CONSTITUTION:Triethyl amine is added to the compd. having the imide group and epoxy group derived from a benzephenone tetracarboxylic anhydride and the phenylene diacrylic acid after substitution of the inside of a flask with nitrogen. After the flask is heated to 150 deg.C, the temp. is rasied up to 200 deg.C at 20 deg.C/1 hour heating up rate and while the evolution of heat by the reaction is suppressed, the reaction is effected by stirring for 4 hours as it is at 200 deg.C. jig lime is added upon ending of the reaction and the reaction product is cooled. A soln. mixture composed of methanol and water is charged thereto to precipitate the polyimide resin. This polyimide resin powder is dissolved in the and benzoin isopropyl ether is added and compounded as a polymn. initiator to and with this resin. The electrode substrate is immersed into this resin liquid to form a coated film and thereafter, the film is subjected to an orientation treatment.
