Processing system for automatic generation of working data

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To remarkably reduce the occurrence of erroneous data, and to prevent the occurrence of mis-working by extracting and generating working data directly from CAD data designed and stored by using a CAD system without any manual work. CONSTITUTION:The working data is generated by extracting working information from the CAD data stored in a CAD data file disk device 13, and further, a sheet metal working arrangement drawing is generated. The position of the punching hole working and the shape data of this arrangement drawing are rearranged into a table so as to correspond to a serial number in the drawing, and all punched holes are tabulated and displayed. The contents of a working instruction are retrieved from the working information, and a corresponding item is displayed on the sheet metal working arrangement drawing, and the generated arrangement drawing is print- outputted by a plotter 17. An operator verifies the outputted sheet metal working arrangement drawing based on the working instruction and the drawing and a table in which the working data is displayed, and if it is decided to be correct, the working data is outputted to a floppy disk device 15 for NC data. Working arrangement is made for a working operator based on the sheet metal working arrangement drawing generated in such a manner, and working is executed.
