Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To reduce cost, to improve productivity and to lower mounting height by respectively forming input/output electrodes in places confronted with resonator holes in initial and final stages on a confronted end surface and capacitance-connecting the input/output electrodes and the internal conductors of the resonator holes in the initial and final stages. CONSTITUTION:A short-side end surface 3 formed on one end surface of a dielectric block 2, at least two resonator holes 5 which are piercingly provided from the short- side end surface 3 towards the confronted end surface 4 with bottoms and which are arranged in parallel, the internal conductors 6 formed on the whole internal surfaces of the resonator holes 5, external conductors 7 formed on the whole side periphery of the dielectric block 2 and a short electrode film 8 which is formed on the short-side end surface 3 and which shorts the internal conductors 6 and the external conductors 7. The input/output electrodes 10 are formed in the places confronted with the resonator holes 5 in the initial and final stages on the confronted end surface 4. The input/output electrodes 10 are capacitance-connected with the internal conductors 6 of the resonator holes 5 in the initial and final stages and a dielectric filter 1 is constituted. Thus, the cost can be reduced, productivity can be improved and surface mounting can be executed.
